I’ve taken a few days off with the All Star break. Not by plan, but by some long days at work and some other stuff going on. Anyways, I’ll be back in full swing this weekend with something that’s so unbelievably good that it’ll blow your mind. I kid you not.

So what went on with the All Star stuff?

Our boy George Sherrill pitched 2 and 1/3 scoreless innings in the All Star game. When he went in with the bases loaded in the 384885th inning, I feared the worst. But Tightrope George struck out the said batter. That’s my boy.

The AL won yet again, which means the last time the NL won the All Star game…I was a sophmore in High School dealing with the teen angst and the agony of NL All Star domination. Thankfully, both of those are past.

Josh Hamilton put on a show in the Homerun Derby and didn’t win it.  Hamilton hit 28 homers in the 1st round, but used it all up and could only muster 3 in the finals to some guy who played for the Twins who didn’t have a checkered past. Justin Moreneu for the record. Hamilton’s a great story, but please let’s not tell his story every time he’s at bat.

I actually enjoyed AllStar weekend for a change. That’s it for now, but I’ll be back and rockin’ this weekend.
