Ramon’s walkoff HR ends O’s 3 game skid

Missed the game last night as I was gone all day, but I woke up this morning to see a great box score.

Daniel Cabrera went 6.2 innings, gave up 5 hits, 1 run, walked 3, and struck out 4. If Cabrera could have that kind of night most of the time when he pitches, I’d be his biggest fan. But next start he could do the same or he could only pitch 3 innings.

Jamie Walker was owned for the second straight game by Carlos Pena. Pena hit his 2nd homer in the series of Walker in the 8th to tie the game up. Chad Bradford came in and pitched the rest of the 8th scoreless.

With the game tied 2-2 in the top of the 9th,

Ramon takes Dan Wheeler yard for a solo shot. George Sherrill picks up his 5th save of the season. The O’s now stand at 7-4 and go for a series win over the Rays today.
